Office of Hon. Ruth Raňa Padilla partnered with the PLGU-NV headed by Governor Carlos M. Padilla thru Dr. Edwin Galapon, Provincial Health Integrated Officer (PIHO) of a vaccination drive for all University employees of both Bayombong and Bambang Campus, held on August 31 and September 1 which was held at the Nueva Vizcaya Convention Center and Bambang Campus, respectively.
OIC Ruth Raňa Padilla stated in her memorandum order to all NVSU employees dated August 25 that the vaccination program is a move for a safe and healthy NVSU community.
It was also stated in the said memorandum that while vaccine is not mandatory, said vaccination program is a great opportunity for employees to be CoVid safe as they continue to provide quality education and services to students and clients.
Through the vaccination drive of OIC Padilla, out of 700 faculty and staff from both Bayombong and Bambang campuses 51 percent have been provided with 1st dose of the vax which was facilitated by the medical staff of the PIHO and MHO-Bambang, respectively.
Meanwhile, 41 percent of university employees are now fully vaccinated through their respective barangays.
The remaining eight percent are scheduled anytime this month for their first dose.
