Blood Donation Drive @ NVSU

The Nueva Vizcaya State University, in partnership with the Red Cross - Nueva Vizcaya Chapter, opened a Blood Donation Drive on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2023, at the University Clinic, Bayombong Campus.

The activity initiated by University President Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., serves as the University's urgent response to the rising number of blood-related needs to various health cases in the province. Registration and screening were done before the blood donation and as result, a total of thirty-eight (38) qualified volunteers were able to donate blood. The collected blood packs will be deposited at the Red Cross Blood Bank in case of immediate necessity. 

The next donation drive is in the works for a wider collection in the NVSU community.
