NVSU Achieves 83.33% Overall Passing Rate in the October 2025 Veterinarians Computer-Based Licensure Examination

The Nueva Vizcaya State University – College of Veterinary Medicine (NVSU-CVM) achieved an 83.33% overall passing rate in the October 2025 Veterinarians Computer-Based Licensure Examination conducted on October 27–29, 2025 in various testing centers nationwide. The examination, administered through a computer-based format, represents a step forward in the modernization of professional licensure testing in the country.


From NVSU, all 12 first-time takers (100%) successfully passed the examination. Among the repeat takers, 13 out of 18 also made it through, bringing the university’s total to 25 new veterinarians and an 83.33% overall passing rate—well above the national passing rate of 77.32%.


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reported that 1,108 out of 1,433 examinees nationwide passed the examination conducted by the Board of Veterinary Medicine, chaired by Dr. Claro N. Mingala with members Dr. Agnes Teodora A. Baylon and Dr. Tomas M. Acorda. Examinations were held in several testing centers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
