NVSU holds groundbreaking ceremony for new Univ Sports Complex

The Nueva Vizcaya State University broke ground for its new NVSU Sports Complex at the Bayombong Campus today, January 20, 2024.

This event signifies the commencement of the construction of the said Sports Complex, which is supported by the Office of Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.

“Ipinaparating po ni Senator Revilla ang taus-pusong pasasalamat sa NVSU sa pagkilalang iginawad nito sa kontribusyon niya sa sining at mga naabot niya sa kanyang pagseserbisyo sa publiko. Nais po niyang iparating na hindi po nabigo ang NVSU sa pagkilala sa kanya,” a message from Sen. Revilla, delivered by PLTGen Rhodel O. Sermonia.

Present at the ceremony were the officials of NVSU, headed by University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr; PLTGen Rhodel O. Sermonia – Deputy Chief for Administration of the Philippine National Police, representing Senator Revilla; Dr. Ruth Rana Padilla – NVSU Member of the Board of Regents, representing the Office of Senator Chiz Escudero.

Furthermore, local government officials joined the ceremony. Hon. Roland Carub, Provincial Board Member; and Hon. Antonio Sergio G. Bagasao, Mayor of Bayombong, NV.
