NVSUans Shine at the 9th PITYLC

NVSU students displayed commendable participation in the 9th Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders Convention (PITYLC) held on October 7-10, 2022, at Teacher?s Camp, Baguio City, with the theme, ?A Decade of Action: Leading Amid COVID and the Better Normal?.

Team NVSU was proclaimed the National Champion of the Kabataan Fair Youth Catalyst Project (Delegation Category). The team?s entry titled, ?Project SEED NVSU: A Social Enterprise and Economic Development Project? was presented by Marcelino W. Pa-it, Jr. as Team Leader (NCSSC Secretary) and Yazle Kaye Almueta (SCSSC Chairperson) as Team Member. The team was coached by Ms. Katrine Angela A. Tucay (NCSSC Adviser) and took home a PhP20,0000 project grant.

Moreover, George Barlolong (CAS-SC Auditor, Bambang Campus) and Justine C. Licodini (Varsity Courier Creative Director, Bayombong Campus) garnered 2nd and 3rd Places, respectively, in the Poster-making Contest.
