NVSU-CVM delegates win 3rd place at Nat’l Congress for Vet Students
Nueva Vizcaya State University College of Veterinary Medicine students bagged 3rd Place in the Veterinary Pharmacology-Pathology Quiz Contest during the 20th National Congress of Veterinary Medicine Students, held on February 12-16, 2024 at DepEd EcoTech Center, Lahug, Cebu City.
The students who excelled in the said competition are: Angel Joy E. Valdez (BAS 3), Lyanne C. Benter (BAS 4), and Katrina Anne P. Ulnagan (DVM 6).
Aside from the Pharma-Patho Quiz; Valdez, Benter, and Ulnagan also participated in the Anatomy-Physiology Quiz and Parasitology-Microbiology Quiz that was held on the same day.
On the 2nd day and 3rd day, the delegates visited Cebu Ocean Park and Cebu Safari & Adventure Park respectively, for educational tours. Series of seminar, recreations and socializations were also conducted as part of the activity during the 5-day event.
The event was concluded on the last day of the event with a closing program and the bidding ceremony for the host school for the 21st NCVMS.
The National Congress of Veterinary Students (NCVMS) is a yearly event attended by the different veterinary schools in the Philippines with Cebu Technological University (CTU) as the host school for this years’ congress.
