Pres. Dumale emphasizes process understanding, excellence in NVSU orientation for New Members
"I am going to demand excellence from each and every unit of the university because your President, myself, is striving to be excellent in everything we do. The same, I am going to demand from you: excellence in work and excellence in serving the public."
Thus, Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) President Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr. expressed in his inspirational message to the 88 teaching and non-teaching employees who attended the Orientation/Onboarding Program for New Members of the NVSU Family held at the 2/F Library Building, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, on May 29-31, 2024.
Dr. Dumale emphasized the importance of understanding the processes and operations of the university, underscoring its significance for new members to grasp the basic procedures that govern the university's functioning.
"It's a matter of understanding the process and how universities and colleges run so that we can better position ourselves within the organization," he stated.
Moreover, Dr. Dumale wished all new members good luck in their endeavors at the university, urging them to deliver exceptional service to all stakeholders.
"I wish all of you good luck in all your undertakings in the university. Mahalin nyo ang University. Kapag minahal niyo ang University, mamahalin din kayo ng Unibersidad. Let us all stay together as a family because many good things are in store. Help us and let’s be together at a higher level of university ship and being in a higher institution of learning," he said.
Themed "New Beginnings, Building Bridges, Shaping Futures," the three-day orientation served as an intervention by the university, specifically the Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO), to familiarize new members with critical policies, legal processes, and internal systems of NVSU.
At the end of the orientation, new employees expressed their dedication to public service through written commitments.
