Pre-service Teachers Receive Orientation from the College of Teacher Education
The University President, Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., graced the Seminar and Orientation Program for Pre-Service Teachers: Empowering Pre-Service Teachers Towards a Successful Teaching Internship, hosted by the College of Teacher Education, led by Dean Dr. William D. Magday, Jr., as they kicked off the semester.
In his inspiring message, he encouraged the interns to embody humility. He talked about the critical role of teachers in ensuring the continuous practice of academic excellence of the future generation; and as he promoted internationalization, he enjoined CTE faculty members to become Fulbright scholars.
He sent-off the interns telling them to make a name for NVSU.
Afterward, Dr. Nimfa Norie T. Aquino, the DepEd Education Program Supervisor, SDO-NV, and DepEd Student Internship Focal Person, discussed the Practices and Policies of DepEd on Internship and the Decorum and Expectations During Internship. She later commended NVSU interns for their exceptional performance, outperforming interns from other schools in the province.
