Nueva Vizcaya State University 20th Commencement Exercises: Senator Legarda addresses NVSU – Bambang Campus graduates

The Nueva Vizcaya State University held its 20^th Commencement Exercises to honor its Bambang Campus graduates at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center, June 28, 2024 with Hon. Loren Legarda, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines, as the Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker.

Sen. Legarda extended her heartfelt congratulations to the graduates, emphasizing the collective efforts of professors, mentors, and families in their achievements.

She also highlighted the transformative power of education, citing her contributions to the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act and the 'No Permit, No Exam' Act.

Moreover, she urged graduates to embrace future opportunities with passion and determination, reminding them of the importance of their roles in society.

“Graduates, as you step into a new chapter of your lives, let your hopes and aspirations guide you. Embrace the opportunities ahead with the same passion and determination that brought you here today. Think about the role you want to play in our society, and no matter where you are, whether in public or private institutions, your performance matters to the overall effectiveness of your community,” the four-term Senator said.

With the theme "A Score of our Past, the Bridge of our Future," Sen. Legarda encouraged graduates to draw lessons from their alma mater as they move forward.

The university has produced a total of 1,961 graduates for the Academic Year 2023-2024.#
