6th Paglagda: NVSU Inks Contract with 91 JO, COS Workers

Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) signed contracts with 91 employees under Job Orders (JO) and Contract of Service (COS) on both the Bayombong and Bambang campuses for the period of July to December 2024 held at NVSU Bayombong Campus, July 1, 2024.

University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr. led the mass contract signing, accompanied by Vice Presidents, Campus Administrators, the Human Resource Management Office, deans, and immediate supervisors.

In his message, Dr. Dumale, shared his own journey from a JO to becoming the university president, expressing his understanding of their experiences.

“Huwag niyong isipin na hindi ko naiintindihan ang sitwasyon niyo. I started, after college, as a JO, at alam ko ang buhay ng mga JO. Alam ko ang buhay ng COS,” Dr. Dumale explained.

He encouraged the employees not to settle and to strive for permanent positions if qualified.

“Huwag makuntento sa JO, so kung qualified ka, apply. Compete,” he added.

Dr. Dumale stressed the importance of providing quality services as per the contract to ensure the university meets its commitments to clients.

“Ngayon, may mga kontrata kayo mga kasama, meron kaming ineexpect sa inyo. Meron kaming inaasahan. Provide us good services,” he concluded, expressing his wish of good luck to all who are part of the contract signing.
