NVSU conducts strategic plan review, strengthens alignment with nat'l, local priorities
Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU), led by University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., convened its two-day Strategic Plan Review at the 2nd Floor of the Library, Bayombong Campus, bringing together key stakeholders to recalibrate the institution’s direction amid evolving national and global landscapes, April 16 to 17.
Organized by the Office of Planning and Strategic Foresight under the Office of the Vice President for Planning, Development and Information Systems, the activity serves as a vital platform to reflect on current strategies, refine institutional priorities, and align initiatives with emerging frameworks, including the Commission on Higher Education’s ACHIEVE Agenda.
In his message, Dr. Dumale emphasized the importance of relevance and responsiveness in planning.
“At para maging relevant tayo sa lahat ng mga planong ito ng ating pamahalaan, taking into consideration what is happening nationally and internationally, by never forgetting our local relevance in our community—which is the ideal plan the University should have,” he expressed.
He further underscored that the true strength of an institution lies in its ability to adapt to change and transform challenges into opportunities.
The activity is attended by members of the University’s Executive Committee and Administrative Council, reflecting a unified institutional effort toward strategic development.
Supporting the initiative are key development partners from national and local government agencies, including Hon. Seth Navis and Hon. Ronald Barnacha of the Municipal Local Government Unit of Bayombong, as well as Herminigildo Gandeza from the Department of Education Schools Division Office of Isabela.
The Strategic Plan Review underscores NVSU’s commitment to collaborative governance, responsive planning, and sustained excellence in service to its community and stakeholders.
