NVSU joins NASUCS conference, books national seat
Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) has clinched a seat in the national policy-making and coordinating body of board secretaries at a recently concluded three-day assembly and conference in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Dr. June Grace C. Domingo, NVSU Board, and University Secretary, was elected as Board Director representing state universities and colleges in Region 2 and as national officer of the National Association of SUC Secretaries (NASUCS), Inc. during its conference and general assembly on October 2-4, 2024 at the Hue Hotel, Puerto Princesa City.
Along with Dr. Domingo, NVSU was also represented by Maria Leovelyn Crizandra D.Taban, Board Secretary I, and Ma. Angelica F. Llanera, Administrative Assistant III.
The gathering drew 168 board and college/university secretaries across the country. It aimed to foster a culture of excellence, synergy, and innovation in the administrative environment and the academic community.
It likewise provided a platform for the secretaries to keep abreast of the latest substantive and procedural practices and innovations as well as challenges and opportunities in their field. As they engaged in a thorough exchange of best practices, the secretaries zeroed in on developing strategies to professionalize the standards of their administrative work.
Under the leadership of SUC President IV- Dr.Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., NVSU's participation in said national event demonstrates its steadfast commitment to the national goals of improving quality in higher education, strengthening linkages to stakeholders, and advancing academic and administrative competitiveness and efficiency.
