NVSU CVM, LGU Bambang Host neutering event in support of World Rabies Day celeb
Continuing the celebration of World Rabies Day, which took place on September 28, the faculty and clinicians of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) – College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) partnered with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bambang and the Municipal Agriculture Office Livestock Section (MAGRO) to hold a neutering event on October 17, 2024, at BIATALS San Antonio South, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.
During the event, 11 dogs and cats were neutered, adding to the University’s ongoing efforts to promote animal welfare. In September, the NVSU Animal Health and Diagnostic Center (NAHDC) – CVM spayed and neutered 34 dogs and cats and vaccinated 35 pets against rabies.
These initiatives demonstrate NVSU-CVM's dedication to promoting responsible pet ownership and fighting rabies, underscoring the University’s commitment to public health and animal care in the local community.
