NVSU receives commendation from NV gov’t on ‘24 WURI achievement

The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) received a commendation from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Nueva Vizcaya for its outstanding achievement in the 2024 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) during the 91^st Regular Session at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, Peoples Hall, Capitol Compound, August 5, 2024.

A letter of invitation reached the Office of the President last week, informing the President that the SP passed a resolution to formally recognize the university’s excellence on the global stage, securing a commendable 154th position out of 12,000 participating universities in the 2024 WURI.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Dumale expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Nueva Vizcaya.

“We always recognize the support of this honorable chamber of the PLGU of Nueva Vizcaya for without their support we are not able to really participate in the rankings and we are continuously doing our best to serve our students-our primary clients,” Dr. Dumale stated, emphasizing that the support from the PLGU has been instrumental in enabling the university to participate in such prestigious rankings.

Dr. Dumale called upon the PLGU to support NVSU’s other initiatives, believing that with its continued support, the university would strive to provide education that meets the highest standards, benefitting future generations and making both the university and Nueva Vizcaya proud.

The President reiterated that the combined efforts of the parents, legislators, and the university community are important to ensuring that NVSU remains best example of excellence in education.

Led by Vice Governor Eufemia A. Dacayo, the SP has committed to continuously support NVSU and extended their congratulations to its achievement.
