Order on the Court: NVSU's 19th Charter Anniversary features Sports Fest and Search for Mr. & Ms. NVSU 2023

The faculty and staff of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) celebrated the fifth day of the 19th Charter Anniversary of the institution with a Sports Fest and the Search for Mr. & Ms. NVSU 2023, held on March 25. The event started with a Zumba dance at the NVSU Bambang Grandstand, where NVSU teaching and non-teaching employees actively participated.

In her opening remarks at the event, Dr. Elma P. Apostol, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized how important it is to work together as "one team, one NVSU."

The NVSU faculty and staff showcased their sportsmanship and skills through various events during the Sports Fest and Laro Ng Lahi. The winners of these events will represent NVSU at the 2023 Olympics of the Association of State Colleges and Universities?Solid North (ASCU-SN).

The highlights of Day 05 were the crowning of Mr. & Ms. NVSU 2023. Mario Apilado III (College of Engineering, Bambang campus) and Nueva Princesa Obay (College of Forestry, Environmental and Resource Management, Bayombong campus) were crowned as Mr. and Ms. SCUAA, while Jenick Tagao and Karen Guieb (both from the College of Teacher Education, Bayombong campus) were crowned as Mr. & Ms. PASUC. Adrielle Benedict Almendra (College of Human Ecology, Bayombong campus) and Chelsea Kate Ochona (College of Teacher Education, Bambang campus) were crowned as NVSU Ambassador and Ambassadress, respectively.

In addition, Dankfreid Tristan D. Bonares (College of Forestry, Environmental and Resource Management, Bayombong campus) and Rumarie V. Bahatan (College of Human Ecology, Bayombong campus) were declared the first runners-up, while Sancho Labao (College of Industrial Technology, Bambang campus) and Analyn V. Grospe (College of Engineering, Bayombong campus) were declared the second runners-up.

Minor awards were also given during the pageant, including the Amity Award, Darling of the Press, USSC Award, Most Photogenic, Most Telegenic, Mr. Dexter Lorenzo Wasin Award, Diestro Film Choice Award, and Mr. and Ms. Wit.

The fifth day of the 19th Charter Anniversary of NVSU was a success, bringing together the faculty and staff from both campuses for a well-organized celebration that reflected NVSU's commitment to excellence and highlighted its dedication to fostering a culture of collaboration beyond academics.
