COE - Bambang Celebrates Engineering Day 2024

The Nueva Vizcaya State University – College of Engineering held its annual Engineering Day with theme, ‘Bridging Innovations: Celebrating Achievement in Engineering’, on May 2, 2024.

The day started with a motorcade through the municipality of Bambang, followed by a solemn mass.

The event served not only as a celebration but also as a platform for motivation and acknowledgment. Engr. Aracel V. Domagas, former Dean of the College and Vice President for Administrative and Finance, delivered her inspiring keynote address. She encouraged students to remain positive in spite of the challenges. “Be a positive thinker. There will always be a reason for every hardship that you encounter while in the College of Engineering. Anchor your feet on the ground even if you have already become successful," Engr. Domagas said.

Additionally, Engr. Marieliza Gay H. Lacquias, who ranked fourth in the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination, shared her personal struggles during her review sessions. She emphasizes hard work. Her message to the aspiring engineers was clear: “Start strong and end strong”.

Both new engineers and student achievers received recognition. Certificates and tokens were given as a token of appreciation for their hard work and for bringing honor to the college and university.

Engineering 2024 not only celebrated the college's achievements, but also inspired both aspiring engineers and engineers to continue striving for excellence. Padayon inhinyeros!
