Forum on Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture
The College of Agriculture, in collaboration with the University?s Research, Extension and Training Program and the College of Business Education, will host a Public Forum on Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture this coming November 18, 2022 at the Mini Theater.
The aforementioned forum generally aims to raise awareness on nutrition-sensitive agriculture approach to significantly contribute to the efforts and programs of supporting marginalized regions in combating hunger.
An international and experienced speaker from Myanmar, Dr. Khin Mar Cho, a Professor at Cornell University, will be invited as the speaker.
Dr. Khin Mar Cho is an International Agriculture, Food Systems and Nutrition Specialist with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research and extension education globally-teach international agriculture, global food systems, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, agribusiness, farm management, extension education, food and nutrition education, food safety and hygiene management, research methodology, and statistics. She acquired more than 2 decades of experience in working on sustainable agriculture and food systems with government agencies, universities, private sector, NGOs and nonprofits at national and international fronts. Alongside these, she received Fulbright teaching and research award and served as Fulbright Visiting Professor at Central Luzon State University Philippines in 2016.

Municipal Agriculturist, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, Barangay Nutrition Scholar, College of Human Ecology Nutritionist and other Stakeholders.
