IA Coors represent NVSU in 2023 ASEAN Festival Celebration in Region 2

NVSU International Affairs Coordinators, Mr. Ventura C. Chinaman of the College of Agriculture and Mr. Laymar P. Umhao of the College of Engineering-Bayombong Campus, represent the Nueva Vizcaya State University in the 2023 ASEAN Festival and Awarding Ceremony with the theme "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth" on 12 October 2023 at Tuguegarao City.

The festival is hosted by the Commission of Higher Education Region 2 in celebration of southeast asian culture, food, tourism and trade featuring a wide variety of cultural performances and competitions.

The OIC-Director of CHED International Affairs Services, Atty. Lily Freida C. Macabangun-Milla CESO IV graced the event. According to her, "Internationalization is not a competition but collaboration... [It] is not about what is outside but about the strength that we have and sharing this strength and best practices to the world."

Chinaman and Umhao showed their gratitude to Atty. Milla for her endorsement during their travels abroad in Thailand and Indonesia, respectively. They also committed that NVSU will actively participate in the 2024 ASEAN Festival.
