MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, INTERNS! SEMINAR-WORKSHOP 2.0 CONCLUDES ON ITS 2ND DAY!
A seminar-workshop titled "IT Works! 2.0: A Skills Enhancement Workshop Series for Information Technology Interns" was successfully conducted on June 1 and 2, 2023, at the NVSU CSIT Laboratory. The event, organized by the Research, Extension and Training Program, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Services (SAS) and the Information Technology Department, aimed to equip IT OJTs with enhanced technical and creative skills in computer applications and pre-employment requirements.
The seminar-workshop commenced with an opening ceremony featuring speeches from the Vice President of Planning and Information Development System, Dr. Carlo F. Vadil, and Ms. Rodelyn M. Aguinaldo, the College OJT Coordinator.
Throughout the event, a series of productive and outcome-driven discussions were facilitated by esteemed speakers from the Research, Extension and Training Department, namely Ms. Heniecy Ann B. Morts, Ms. Sheena Lyn V. Ramos-Ramel, Ms. Clarissa Mae A. Borja, Ms. Yasmin Olga D. Salamanca, and Dr. Frances Ireene L. Garcia (from the College of Arts and Sciences).

The participants actively engaged in activities related to the lectures, applying their newfound knowledge and skills. On the last day of the seminar-workshop, three outstanding outputs per lecture were recognized and awarded.
Mr. Napoleon Anthony Mendoza, a CSIT Faculty member, delivered his closing message expressing gratitude to the organizers and participants for their active involvement and contribution to the success of the program.
Mr. Ian Paul A. Garcia expertly facilitated the entire two-day event as the Master of Ceremonies, ensuring a smooth flow of activities and a productive learning environment.
