NVSU CEN-BSABE students clinch awards in PAEStigan X competition

Nueva Vizcaya State University - College of Engineering BSABE students won awards in the recently concluded PAEStigan X, held at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, Laguna, on February 23 - 24, 2024.

Here is the list of winners in their respective categories:

• Ms. Rhuinn Kate K. Puguon, 1st Place, Agricultural Machines Parts Identification category;
• Mr. Cedric Jade Martin Peril, 2nd Place, AutoCAD Challenge; and
• Mr. Peter James Vergara and Mr. Jireh Gem Lalaan, 3rd Place, Tractor Rodeo competition.

Mr. Othmar Mikhael Vergara, Mr. Browner Almazan, and Ms. Lorelien Bidang Limbog clinched a position in the Top 21 among 40 teams in the PAEStigan Quiz Contest, a challenge on the comprehensive understanding of the subject matter of agricultural engineering.

Additionally, Mr. Kent Denver Bolusan participated in the QGIS Challenge.

The CEN expresses gratitude to Engr. Imee Pugong Quiligue (Alumna) and to Faculty Coach, Engr. Laymar Umhao for their unwavering support, guidance, and assistance throughout the event.

The College of Engineering takes immense pride in their accomplishments and looks forward to further successes in their academic and professional endeavors.

Furthermore, the event was organized by the UP Society of Agricultural Engineering Students.
