NVSU Civil Eng’g faculty join 2nd Intl Eng'g Expo, 50th PICE Convention
The faculty of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Civil Engineering Department of College of Engineering actively participated in the 2nd International Engineering Expo and 50th National Convention and Technical Conference held from October 29 to 31, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.
The convention, themed “Building Global Partnerships, Bridging Boundaries, and Fostering New Technologies Towards A More Resilient and Sustainable Development,” brought together thousands of civil engineering professionals and students to explore the latest innovations and trends in the field.
Faculty members contributed to various sessions, sharing their expertise through presentations and participating in discussions focused on key mega infrastructure projects and advancements in civil engineering technology. Their involvement underscored the department's commitment to enhancing education and professional practice within the engineering community.
In addition to academic contributions, several faculty members attended technical breakout sessions that covered topics in Project Management, Geotechnical Engineering, and Environmental & Energy Engineering, among others. This engagement provided valuable networking opportunities and insights into current industry challenges and solutions.
The participation of the Civil Engineering Department not only showcased the college's dedication to professional development but also fostered collaboration among educators, industry leaders, and students.
