NVSU Inspects Thai Host Companies for Student Internship Program

Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) conducted an inspection of partner host companies in Thailand from May 27 to 29, 2025, to ensure student safety and compliance with the Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) guidelines set by CHED.

Led by Ms. Katrine Angela A. Tucay, International Affairs and OJT Coordinator of the College of Business Education, the visit included on-site evaluations at Betagro Group and TasteBud Lab—potential internship sites for students in agribusiness, hospitality, and food science.

The inspections assessed safety measures, internship quality, accommodations, and academic alignment. Ms. Tucay also represented NVSU at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025 and the Future Food Systems Conference & Show, engaging with global food industry experts.

The initiative reflects NVSU’s commitment to internationalization and student preparedness for global careers. Deployment of interns to Thailand will proceed after the completion of required documentation and coordination.
