NVSU launches Mathematical Modeling and Statistics Center Services
The Nueva Vizcaya State University, through the College of Arts and Sciences - Mathematics Department launched the Mathematical Modeling and Statistics Center (MMSC) Services with a Seminar Empowering Graduate Students with Essential Statistical Tools for Thesis and Dissertation on April 26-27 at the DFTC, NVSU, Bayombong.
The two-day seminar aims to introduce the MMSC services to the colleges which are geared towards enhancing the research capabilities of both undergraduate and graduate students, and to identify research modelers and statisticians to provide support for social researches, product development, experimental designs for field and laboratory studies. Furthermore, the event also sought to standardize data presentations and equip GS students in choosing statistical tools for their thesis and dissertation.
In the university’s pursuit for academic excellence, said activity is a pioneering initiative of CAS to foster excellence in Mathematical modeling and statistical analysis within the academic community.
