NVSU Reaps 2 NRYLI Awards

Nueva Vizcaya State University -Bayombong Campus received two awards at the 61st National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute (NRYLI), with the theme, "Rizalian Values: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow," held at Teacher's Camp, Baguio City, last December 7-10, 2023.

Bernadette I. Corpuz, BSCE 3, garnered 3rd place in the Essay Writing competition, and Jaymie E. Espiritu, BSCE 4, also won 3rd place in Editorial Writing.

In addition, John Lloyd Jasmin, BSEd 2, was qualified in the final round and landed 8th place out of 59 participants in the Rizal Quiz Bee.

Moreover, the result for the Outstanding Jose Rizal Students of the Philippines, participated by Keneith M. Natura (BSA 4), will be announced on December 12.

Leviriza Guillermo (BSA 3), Tiffany Jane Baguisi (BSCE 4), John Ryan Sanchez (BSF4), and Jesse James Sesbreño (BSCE 3), also represented the university in different contested activities.

The students were joined by Mr. Xaviery Joseph Guzman, one of their coaches. Mr. Jerwin F. Memita and Ms. Katrine Angela Tucay also served as coaches.

The event was participated by 544 delegates from different schools in the Philippines.
