NVSU Strengthens Global Engagement at BRIDGE IZN Workshop

Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) reaffirmed its commitment to internationalization by joining Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Cagayan and Isabela (CagCal) alongside the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office II (CHED R2) in the Building Resilience and Innovation in Developing Global Engagements (BRIDGE): Capacity Building and Strategic Internationalization Planning for HEIs in Region II workshop, held at the University of Cagayan Valley, March 10.

Representing NVSU President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., and Office of the International Affairs (OIA) Director Atty. Regine Karla Tabas, Bambang Campus ICD Coordinator Dr. Rodney T. Cajimat presented NVSU’s Internationalization (IZN) Journey, showcasing the university’s initiatives, achievements, and strategies in strengthening global engagement.

The workshop emphasized the importance of bridging internationalization gaps, with participating HEIs prioritizing the development of Strategic Internationalization Plans (SIPs) to enhance their global competitiveness.

Local experts played a crucial role in guiding HEIs toward improved university rankings, promoting regional collaboration for a more unified approach to IZN.

Through this initiative, NVSU and other HEIs continue to pave the way for stronger international partnerships and academic excellence on a global scale.
