NVSU-ICpEP.se Bagged Three-peat Championship

With the theme "Computer Engineers: Reshaping the Digital World through Innovative Response to Humanity," the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP) Region 2 conducted its 2022 ICpEP.se REGIONAL CONVENTION 2022 and 6th CpE STUDENT CHALLENGE from January 6?8, 2023 at Cagayan State University ? Carig Campus, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

One of the highlights in the event was the Student CpE Challenge, which was participated by Computer Engineering students of Nueva Vizcaya State University. Competitions for Quiz Bowl, Programming, Logic Circuit Design, Pitching, and Mobile Legends composed the said activity. As a result, the students were able to take home the following awards:

1) Joker Jiffy Jeff D. Dulnuan & Emil B. Atinan (Champion: Logic Circuit Design)

2) Ronald G. Genove Jr. (Champion: Python Programming)

3) Hendricks James & Nickolai R. Elloran (First Runner Up: Java Programming)

4) Renn C. Bartolome (First Runner Up: C Programming)

5) Gabriel A. Perez, Jamaica L. Pico & Ayessa D. Florendo (First Runner Up: Pitching Competition - AuTomato: We Pulverize Farmer?s Problem)

6) Kristine C. Dela Pena, Nuestro R. Pait and Miles P. Paclibare (First Runner Up: Quiz Bowl Competition)

7) John Harlie Mizael G. Andrada, Romel S. Mico Jr., Christian Levic A. Respicio ,Glen Lenard A. Tejano and Tristan Haniel H. Leal (Second Runner Up: Mobile Legends)

For the three consecutive Regional CpE Student Challenge, NVSU-ICpEP.se bagged the championship in the Logic Circuit Design and Breadboarding Competition.

Participants in Logic Circuit Design and Python Programming will represent Region 2 at the National CpE Challenge at the Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on January 19 ? 21, 2023.

The Computer Engineering Department headed by Engr. Michael D. Aliaga would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the administration's continuous support in all the department activities.
