500 NVSU students receive P5k DSWD Financial Assistance

Nueva Vizcaya State University, led by University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., tgether with the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Office of Senator Imee R. Marcos, facilitated the DSWD Educational Assistance Distribution to 500 student-beneficiaries on May 27, 2024.

This distribution marks the first of four batches of assistance to be provided to the qualified students of NVSU.

“Beyond tuition waivers, this assistance will greatly benefit the students and support their academic endeavors,” stated Dr. Dumale. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the assistance for essential needs rather than luxuries.

Additionally, each student received a total of P5,000.

The funds for the distribution are provided by the DSWD and was funded through the initiative of Hon. Sen. Imee R. Marcos.
