Achieving Human Behavior Change for Improved Animal Welfare Workshop

Three faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine attended the recently concluded workshop entitled “Achieving Human Behavior Change for Improved Animal Welfare” at Sequioa Hotel, Quezon City, Metro Manila last September 11-12, 2023.

Dr. Melvin O. Allama, Dr. Rembert John G. Gapad, and Dr. Noreen B. Taynan joined the 2-day workshop initiated by Animal Kingdom Foundation in partnership with The University of Edinburgh and Newcastle University. The speakers talked about the provision of welfare in not just pet animals in the clinic setting but also to the farm animals. The activity also provided opportunity for the participants to meet their colleagues from the different fields of Veterinary Medicine.
