CAS bagged Championship in Barkadahan Festival 2023 [BAMBANG CAMPUS]
The Barkadahan Festival 2023 commenced yesterday, March 22, marking the third day of the highly anticipated week-long festivities commemorating the 19th Charter Anniversary of Nueva Vizcaya State University. This year's theme, "NVSU Going Beyond Borders," underscores the university's commitment to expanding its horizons and pushing the boundaries of excellence.
Featuring the Padyak (street dancing) and Kuligligan (float) competitions, the four (4) colleges in Bambang Campus spotlighted the four (4) major festivals of the country: Dinangyang Festival for the College of Teacher Education (CTE), Bambanti Festival for the College of Engineering (COE), Pahiyas Festival for the College of Industrial Technology (CIT), and Pangabenga Festival for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
Indigenous Peoples (IP) groups on campus supported the event by joining the street dancing and showing off their tribal and community dances at the dance showdown. This level of cooperation shown by the IP organizations on campus reflects how highly they are regarded.
