NVSU launches physical exam drive for faculty, staff under PhilHealth Konsulta PH Caravan
Faculty and staff of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) are now availing of the PhilHealth Konsulta Package through the PhilHealth Konsulta PH Caravan, a nationwide initiative that delivers essential health services closer to members.
Spearheaded by the initiative of University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., the caravan is being held at Padilla Hall, NVSU Bayombong Campus from July 21 to 25, 2025, through the efforts of NVSU Health Services and the Human Resources Management Unit, in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) Bayombong as the Konsulta Provider, and PhilHealth Solano.
This is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to safeguard the health and well-being of its employees. This initiative allows employees to assess their overall health and detect possible medical conditions early on.
The PhilHealth Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (Konsulta) Package is PhilHealth’s expanded primary care benefit aimed at providing members with access to preventive, promotive, and curative health services, including consultations, laboratory tests, and medicines. This program highlights the importance of early detection and health management to ensure overall wellness.
University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr. reiterated his strong support for wellness programs, encouraging all employees to avail themselves of this opportunity.
This initiative builds on previous health-focused activities under his leadership, including the Holistic Approach Toward Achieving Wellness (HATAW) program, the Biggest Loser Challenge, and now this physical examination drive.
Hon. Tony Bagasao, Municipal Mayor of Bayombong, and officials from PhilHealth were also present to show support for the program.
The NVSU Health Services reminds all employees of the schedule of the Physical Examination as follows:
- July 21 – Non-Teaching Personnel
- July 22 – College of Arts and Sciences
- July 23 – College of Engineering and College of Human Ecology
- July 24 – College of Teacher Education and College of Veterinary Medicine
