CBE Dean joins learning visit in Belgium

Participated by six delegates from the Philippines, a Learning Visit is organized on June 21-30, 2023 in collaboration with West Flanders Synergy Pilipinas and the Province of West Flanders, Belgium.

NVSU focal person for Synergy Pilipinas and Dean of the College of Business Education, Dr. Dolores B. Galvez joined the said program which gave her the opportunities to explore and gain insights into various technological advancements and practices in several institutions.

Dr. Galvez visited two competence-based international universities including the VIVES University of Applied Sciences known for its innovative to practical research and its services provided to society, and the Howest University of Applied Sciences renowned for its technology programs such as Cybersecurity and Digital Arts and Entertainment. They also dropped by the Food Innovation Park, Organic Farms, Provincial Technology Institute, and Inagro.

With the intention to observe and adapt from the latest technologies in Belgium to the Philippines, Dr. Galvez plans to support our young entrepreneurs in starting their business endeavors and develop the existing innovative centers like the NVSU Sabatan Technopreneurs Hub.
