CEng hailed Padyak Champion, CFERM kuliglig claims 1st Place
The Barkada Festival 2023 of the Bayombong Campus kicked off today, March 22, 2023, with the Padyak and Kuliglig Competitions at the Nueva Vizcaya Sports Complex, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
The College of Engineering (CEng) was awarded the championship trophy for the Padyak Competition, a modern street dancing competition while the College of Human Ecology (CHE) and the College of Teacher Education (CTE) were declared first and second runners-up, respectively.
Meanwhile, the kuliglig of the College of Forestry, Environment and Resources Management (CFERM) got the judges? nod for 1st Place in the float parade contest. CTE ranked second, and the College of Agriculture (CAgri) settled for third.
Apart from the grand prize, the CEng also brought home the Best Costume, Most Festive, and Best in Choreography awards.
The eight colleges of the campus participated in both competitions as well as the parade around the center of Bayombong, featuring the candidates of Mr. and Miss NVSU 2023.
