COE-Bayombong Produces Six New Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers
The College of Engineering is proud of the six (6) NVSU Alumni who successfully passed the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer Licensure Examination (ABELE) held on September 14-15, 2023. The successful takers who conquered their appendage title as “Engr” this year are Engr. Charlene Ann B. Aggalut, Engr. Jiver Dhaiynz Aubrelle B. Aquino, Engr. Maria Incarnacion M. Aquino, Engr. Jaypee A. De Guzman, Engr. Kristel Mae D. Luciano, and Engr. Clyde D. Mendoza.
The institutional passing percentage for new takers of NVSU in this year’s licensure exam is 16.67%. It is lower than the institutional passing percentages in the past 5 years but it can also be noted that this year’s ABELE recorded the lowest national passing percentage of 33.41% among the national passing percentages of the licensure examination in the last 13 years. With the institution's performance, the Department of ABE faculty members conducted a meeting this September 22, 2023, and discussed strategies to address the low passing percentage of the new takers.
