CTE's Tribute to LET Passers Continues this 2023

The College of Teacher Education (CTE) of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) recognized the passers of the 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on March 2, 2023, at the NVSU Gymnasium.

This annual recognition program was halted in 2020 due to the pandemic, but it continues this year with a new mantra, PANANGITANDUDO, which means to praise, to commend, to applaud, and to express approbation.

The event was a celebration of the LET passers' hard work and dedication in achieving their professional licenses. The elementary level achieved an impressive 86.79% passing rate, exceeding the national passing rate of 54.43%. Meanwhile, the secondary level achieved a 73.58% passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 50.94%.

The recognition ceremony started with a program, followed by a motorcade and a free lunch for the passers. The presentation of passers by the department chairs highlighted the program.

Also, during the program, the Samahang Pangsekundaryang Mag-aaral ng NVSU (SPM-NVSU) awarded incentives and resolutions to the BSEd school-based LET top notchers. The top 5 for both secondary education and elementary education were recognized.

In his opening remarks, Dean William D. Magday, Jr. enjoined the CTE students to applaud the passers as he said, ?Kayong mga nagsipalakpak, kayo naman ang susunod na papalakpakan namin.? The program also intends to inspire the CTE students to work hard and pass the LET.

In his words of commendation, Dr. Arvin P. Vallesteros, the Campus Administrator of Bayombong Campus, praised the high performance of the college. Afterward, the secondary and elementary education topnotchers, Zairah Jane Ballatong and Jeline Oyao, responded on behalf of the group of passers.

The CTE's PANANGITANDUDO was a festive event and serves as a testament to the university's commitment to excellence in education and producing competent and ethical teachers who will contribute to the country's development.
