Mr. and Ms. NVSU 2023 winners crowned
Cheers and applause filled the University Gymnasium of the Bayombong Campus as the winners of the Mr. and Miss NVSU 2023 pageant were announced early evening on March 24. Twelve pairs of candidates representing the eight colleges of the Bayombong Campus and four colleges of the Bambang Campus competed in the festival costume, swimwear, and formal attire categories. They were also judged in the beauty and wit criteria.
Hailed as Mr. and Miss NVSU-SCUAA were Mario Apilado III (College of Engineering ? Bambang Campus) and Nueva Princesa Obay (College of Forestry, Environmental & Resources Management ? Bayombong Campus). Jenick Tagao and Karen Mae Guieb (both from the College of Teacher Education ? Bayombong Campus) were proclaimed Mr. and Miss NVSU-PASUC. The NVSU Ambassador and Ambassadress titles were awarded to Adrielle Benedict Almendra (College of Human Ecology ? Bayombong Campus) and Chelsea Kate Ochona (College of Teacher Education ? Bambang Campus).
Rounding out the winners? circle were Mr. and Miss NVSU 1st Runners-Up were Dankfreid Tristan Bonares (College of Forestry, Environmental & Resource Management ? Bayombong Campus) and Rumarie Bahatan (College of Human Ecology ? Bayombong Campus). Sancho Labao (College of Industrial Technology - Bambang Campus) and Analyn Grospe (College of Engineering ? Bayombong Campus) were declared Mr. and Miss NVSU 2nd Runners-Up.

The Designer of the Year was awarded to Mr. Paolo Miguel Lictao, a third-year BSIT Garments student from the College of Industrial Technology ? Bambang Campus for creating the best festival costume.
The Mr. & Miss NVSU 2023 pageant served as the closing event of the two-day Barkada Festival 2023 of the University?s 19th Charter Anniversary celebration.
