This 2-day writeshop aims to capacitate project leads and proponents to prepare project pre-implementation requirements such as Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), Purchase Requests (PR), timeline, and to be familiarized with other administrative processes. The writeshop is participated by the PLGU-NV represented by Ms. Mikara Kaye Dulay from the Provincial tourism and culture office, and faculty researchers from the College of Teacher Education (both campuses), College of Human Ecology, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Industrial Technology, chiefs and representatives from the administration, and RET staff.

This newly-approved program was through the effort and initiative of NVSU President Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr. during his term as the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Program under the leadership of former OIC Dr. Ruth Raña Padilla . As a researcher himself, Dr. Dumale presented the proposal and defended it to the CHED En Banc in 2021.

The research project is set to commence this quarter with an expected duration of 2 years. By unlocking the potential of sustainable heritage practices, this groundbreaking project aims to promote the diverse culture of the province of Nueva Vizcaya.

The NVSU RET program would also like to extend its gratitude to the Technical Working Group composed of R&D staff and faculty researchers for the continuous efforts from conceptualization to implementation of the project.

Congratulations and a big salute to all of you!
