NV Prov’l Board lauds NVSU for producing top performing alumni, honors Engr. Guimbongan
The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) was commended for producing top-performing graduates during the Sangguniang Panlalawigan's Regular Session held at the Session Hall, People’s Hall, Capitol Compound, November 25, 2024.
In his speech, University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., expressed his gratitude for the support, the university is receiving from the provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya.
“We are not going to waste this support that you are continuously giving us in so many ways. We are going to do our best to be of service to Novo Vizcayanos,” Dr. Dumale said.
Dr. Dumale also highlighted the growing success of NVSU students in recent licensure examinations.
“We are thankful because more and more of our students are becoming successful in their licensure examination hurdles,” he noted, emphasizing the university’s dedication to academic excellence.
Meanwhile, the President took the opportunity to address the challenges NVSU faces in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Pepito, which caused extensive damage to the university’s infrastructure and equipment.
Moreover, Engr. Hannah Mae R. Guimbongan received a commendation from the SP for achieving the highest rating in the October 2024 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination. Engr. Guimbongan personally received the recognition.
