NVSU Officials Gear Up through Capacity-Building Seminar

In line with its goal of internalization to internationalization, the Nueva Vizcaya State University is currently conducting an orientation training workshop for university officials from April 3-5, 2023, on the 2nd Floor of the Library Building, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The workshop themed "Get the team moving, let's get fueled!" endeavors to equip the participating university officials with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their work performance and contribute to their growth and development. It provides an excellent opportunity for them to interact and collaborate, building a stronger and more effective team.

On the first day, the workshop covered various topics, including: the Organizational Management Structure (OMS); internal and external communication protocols; procedures and completed staff work for ExeCom; Academic and Administrative Councils; Expanded Finance Boards; Board of Regents (BOR) Meetings; and roles of officials as fiscal administrators, end-users, and human resource supervisors.

Meanwhile, University President Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr. urged his fellow public servants to take some time to think about their daily accomplishments and reflect on how well they achieved them. He emphasized that, ultimately, they are not answerable to him, but to God, for their actions at the end of each day.

NVSU continues to prioritize the development of its officials, providing them with opportunities to enhance their skills and contribute to the university's growth and success.
