NVSU passes first stage audit of SOCOTEC
True to its commitment to adhering to global standards, the Nueva Vizcaya State University successfully passed the first stage audit for the recertification of its Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2015 by SOCOTEC Certification International.
SOCOTEC, represented by Mr. Mark Anthony Ilagan, conducted the audit at the Bayombong and Bambang Campuses from February 28, 2024, to March 01, 2024.
“The strength of the institution lies in the strength of individual units. There is a real need to strengthen our respective units so that they can contribute to the overall strength of the university. In the next few days, we will assess our processes, capabilities, and weaknesses, aiming to transform those weaknesses into strengths through our collective efforts to enhance service delivery for our clients,” said Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., University President, during the opening program.
The ISO 9001:2015 QMS aims to validate the quality of services and customer satisfaction provided by the certified agency.
Mr. Ilagan highlighted that the University not only passed the initial stage of audit but also received a recommendation to proceed to the next stage of audit.
