NVSU welcomes 20 newly appointed employees

Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) welcomed 20 newly appointed employees in a formal oath-taking and appointment ceremony led by University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., at NVSU Bayombong, July 22, 2024.

During his message, Dr. Dumale extended his congratulations to the new hires, including those who have been promoted and those coming from other organizations, expressing a sense of optimism about their reasons for joining NVSU.

"I will say that you made the right choice in coming to NVSU because we want opportunities to be equal for everyone. I see to it that capacity building and training are distributed not just to a few," Dr. Dumale assured, highlighting the university's commitment to professional development and equal opportunity.

Welcoming the new generation of NVSU employees, Dr. Dumale imparted pieces of advice to the newly appointed employees.

"Do not stop learning, because if you stop learning, then you stop growing. What I am trying to say is that opportunities are in your hands. We have to create possibilities. We have to think out of the box and try to innovate in our own ways because it will open opportunities,” he stated

He also underscored the significance of developing a deep connection with the university.

"You have to learn to love the university. Your love for yourself, if you complement it with love for the university that is the perfect formula for you to grow. You will be able to contribute to the university, and you will be able to realize your goals. Because in the university, opportunities will always knock on your doors,” he added.

Dr. Dumale assured the new employees of the university's commitment to providing benefits and growth opportunities, but emphasized that this must be reciprocated with excellent service.

In her closing remarks, Dr. Cecile J. Martin, Chief Administrative Officer, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the president for consistently supporting their activities.

She emphasized that everyone deserved their appointments and reiterated the importance of good quality service they provide to the NVSU community.

The ceremony concluded with a sense of optimism for the future of NVSU, as the new employees pledged to uphold the university's values and contribute to its mission of providing excellent service to the community through the words of commitment delivered by Ms. Jessica F. Afalla, Administrative Aide VI; and Mr. Jan Mikhael M. Pating, Information Officer I.
