NVSU welcomes 36 new, promoted employees
The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) welcomed a total of 36 newly appointed and promoted employees during the 10th Panunumpa and Appointment Ceremony held at the Mini Theater on October 20.
Based on the official list from the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), 20 employees were promoted to higher academic and administrative positions, signifying NVSU’s strong commitment to recognizing excellence, nurturing talent, and promoting career advancement within the university.
Meanwhile, 11 newly appointed personnel joined various colleges and offices, bringing fresh perspectives and renewed enthusiasm to NVSU’s academic and administrative operations.
In addition, four reemployed faculty members were also welcomed back, reflecting the University’s continued trust in their expertise, dedication, and institutional service.
In his message, University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr. emphasized the values of loyalty, appreciation, and collective commitment as the pillars that sustain NVSU’s growth and excellence.
“If you have love and loyalty for the university, it will make you stay,” Dr. Dumale said, adding that it is loyalty and love that propel employees to move forward and continue serving the institution with passion and purpose.
The president also shared insights from an article he read on generational differences, noting how Baby Boomers and Gen X worked hard to provide for Millennials and Gen Z.
“Yung mga privileges na mayroon kayo ngayon ay nandiyan na noong kayo ay nagkamalay,” he remarked, highlighting the importance of appreciating what has been built and continuing the work of improvement instead of focusing on shortcomings.
He further called on employees to unite and work together for the university.
“This promotion signals that you are now called to do more for the university. Naiintindihan po naming that sometimes you get tired. Magtulungan tayo na palakasin pa ang ating institusyon Dr. Dumale said.
Newly appointed and promoted employees pledged to uphold the university’s core values and advance its mission of delivering excellent service to the community. The words of commitment were led by Ms. Creasel S. Valencia, College Librarian I, and Mr. Jovelle A. Gauiran, Instructor III.
