NVSU's Dr. Caranza joins ranks of Senior Executives in DAP's PMDP
Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) takes pride in another milestone as Dr. Jayson Q. Caranza, Dean of the College of Forestry, Environment and Resources Management (CFERM), has been admitted to Batch 14 of the Senior Executive's Class under the Public Management Development Program (PMDP) of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).
Dr. Caranza is part of an elite group consisting of only 18 individuals who were accepted into Batch 14 among numerous applicants nationwide. His acceptance highlights not only his exceptional qualifications but also NVSU's commitment to nurturing capable leaders within its ranks.
Dr. Caranza is the second recipient of this prestigious scholarship in the university, following the footsteps of University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., who was the valedictorian of the Senior Executive's Class Batch 9.
The Senior Executive's Class under PMDP is a rigorous and highly competitive program designed for high-level public sector officials.
To qualify, applicants must be from a national line or attached agency, constitutional and legislative office, government-owned and controlled corporation, or state university/college. They must hold a Director-level position, be aged 55 years old or below, and in good health.
This achievement not only reflects the strong mentoring culture at NVSU but also highlights the president's commitment to ensuring the continuity of able and strong administrators and leaders in the university.
