
P18.24M Two-Storey Forestry Building Breaks Ground at NVSU
A groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the P18.24-million 2-storey Forestry building was carried out today, March 14, 2025 in Nueva Vizcaya State University, which was led by University President Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr. and Dean of the College of Forestry, Environment Resources Management (CFERM) Dr. Jayson Q. Caranza.
Joining them are OIC Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Arvin P. Vallesteros; Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Cristina R. Salvosa; Vice President for Research, Extension and Training Dr. Jonar I. Yago; Regent Fitzgerald L. Fabelico; Regent Corazon M. Cudia Student Regent Francheska Lois Chua and Balik Scientist Dr. Guillermo Mendoza.
The upcoming facility is designed to serve as a hub for forestry education, featuring offices and classrooms that will enhance the learning environment for students and faculty.
The groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony officially signals the start of construction, reinforcing NVSU’s commitment to advancing higher education and environmental stewardship.
