Pres. Dumale administers oath to 183 reclassified faculty members

Nueva Vizcaya State University, headed by University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., administered the oath-taking of 183 faculty members reclassified for promotion under the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Joint Circular (JC) No. 3, series of 2022, on May 20, 2024, at the NVSU Bambang Campus.

JC No. 3 aims to establish and prescribe the criteria and guidelines for the reclassification of faculty positions in state universities and colleges (SUCs).

President Dumale reminded the faculty members that the reclassification is not just a promotion for personal and professional development but also to provide quality education to the students of NVSU.

Moreover, aside from the 183 faculty members who were reclassified under JC No. 3, three faculty members took an oath for their reclassification under NBC 461 8th Cycle, along with one newly hired instructor.
