SALUDO SA RETIRADO AND EMPLOYEES’ NIGHT: Commissioner Agrupis commends NVSU retirees, employees for dedication, service

Hon. Shirley C. Agrupis, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Chairperson of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Board of Regents, delivered an inspiring virtual message during the Saludo sa Retirado and Employees' Night held on March 14 at the Bambang Auditorium.

In her address, Commissioner Agrupis lauded the unwavering dedication, commitment, and passion of NVSU’s retirees and employees, emphasizing their invaluable contributions to the university’s growth and success. She highlighted the significance of their collective efforts in shaping NVSU into an institution that upholds academic excellence, service, and innovation.

“To our dear retirees, agyaman kami unay for the years of dedication, for the years of wisdom, and unwavering commitment you have given to NVSU. I know that you had different responsibilities. Mabalin nga you confined yourself to being a professor, a teacher, administrator or support services. Uray ana ti inububra yu ti NVSU, please know that you co-owned the status of NVSU today,” Hon. Agrupis stated.

She also expressed gratitude to the current employees of NVSU, recognizing their perseverance and commitment in fostering an environment of learning and progress. Hon. Agrupis underscored the crucial role of educators and staff in ensuring that the university remains a beacon of knowledge and service for the province and beyond.

“Dakkel nga banag because ni president haan nga makakuti nu awan ti administrative council na. The administrative council cannot work without the support services and most of all, NVSU cannot deliver its main function to mentor and mold young people for future’s generation nu awan kayo amin. You have built not just a university but a community of learners, a community of mentors, and of course, trailblazers. Your legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those whom you have guided and whom you have inspired, she added.

Commissioner Agrupis concluded her message by encouraging the NVSU community to continue striving for excellence, promoting a culture of innovation, and upholding the institution’s vision of transformative education.

“As you move forward, may you always carry the spirit of service, passion, and excellence that define NVSU. Your dedication is what makes this university a place of learning, growth, and inspiration,” she said.

The Saludo sa Retirado and Employees' Night served as a heartfelt tribute to the invaluable contributions of NVSU’s faculty and staff, reinforcing the university’s commitment to recognizing and honoring those who have dedicated their time and effort in the pursuit of academic excellence. The event was attended by university officials, faculty members, staff, retirees and special guests who gathered to celebrate the honorees.
