Other national finalists were Alfredo Balicat (Editorial Cartooning–Filipino), Princess Sheninah Cassandra Lictawa (News Writing–English), Pharisse Myles Uy (Editorial Writing–Filipino), and TUG radio broadcasting team, namely: Jomerson Olad, Ryan Josh Laboreda, Noel Tomas, Santanina Kiray and Rochelle Bautista.

Meanwhile, Lictawa, the editor-in-chief, was elected as the Luzon Representative to the National Campus Federation of Journalists (NCFJ).
