CFERM 49th Founding Anniversary Celebration
The College of Forestry, Environment, and Resources Management (CFERM) celebrates its 49th founding anniversary with the theme "CFERM Strides to 50: Sustainable Transformations Reinforcing Innovative Developments for the Environment and Society."
The event commences with an invocation by Dr. Yolina T. Castaneto, followed by an opening remarks from Dr. Jayson Q. Caranza, the Dean of the CFERM. The event is also graced by Dr. Cristina R. Salvosa, Vice President for Administration and Finance and the representative of the university president. The mechanics of the activities are explained by Dr. Rogelio P. Pascua, a faculty member of CFERM. Additionally, Dr. William D. Magday, the Dean of the College of Teacher Education and Dr. Adornado C. Vergara from the College of Engineering are also present at the event. Mr. Kenn O. Querido, a faculty member of CFERM, serves as the Master of Ceremony.
As part of the Anniversary celebration, a ceremonial tree planting for the project "Ecotourism Enhancement of NVSU Bayombong Campus Through Planting of Golden Shower Along Thoroughfares and Parks" marks the beginning of the event with participation from CFERM students, faculty and NVSU Administrative Council members.
