NVSU Bayombong Campus programs undergo accreditation for high-quality education

Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bayombong Campus successfully concluded the week-long online accreditation survey visit of its 17 academic programs conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) with a closing program on Sept. 20, 2024.

During the closing program, the AACCUP accreditors delivered their overall impressions of the university’s programs, commending NVSU for its efforts in striving for excellence, particularly noting the university's strong research initiatives, well-equipped facilities, and dedicated faculty.

Accreditors also provided recommendations to further enhance the academic environment, which NVSU administrators warmly accepted.

University President Dr. Wilfredo Dumale Jr. and deans of the respective colleges led the pledge of commitment, emphasizing their dedication to continuous improvement in academic standards and student services.

Dr. Dumale, in his message, expressed appreciation to the accreditors and faculty for their hard work and assured that the university would act on the recommendations provided to ensure sustainable growth and development in all its programs.

From September 16 to 20, the AACCUP accreditation process covered programs from NVSU Bayombong’s graduate and undergraduate offerings.

Programs which underwent 2nd Survey Visit were the Master in Management major in Agribusiness Management, Public Management, and Business Management; Doctor of Education major in Educational Management; Master of Education major in Educational Management; Master of Arts in Education major in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health; Master of Arts in Teaching with majors in English and Filipino; Doctor of Philosophy in Multi-Lingual Education; and Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in General Science.

Additionally, the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Bachelor of Science in Ecotourism programs were assessed for the 1st Survey Revisit.

The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, and Master of Education in Language, Reading, and Numeracy were assessed for Level IV Phase 2 accreditation.

Further, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Level III Phase 2 accreditation.
