NVSU-Bambang Campus 20th Recognition Program: Pres. Dumale highlights students’ excellence, perseverance

“We aim to recognize your perseverance and the success that you have attained against all odds.”

Thus, University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., said, setting the tone for the 20th Recognition Program of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bambang Campus on October 30, 2024.

Addressing an audience of honorees, faculty, and parents, President Dumale celebrated the students’ academic and co-curricular achievements, commending their resilience and dedication amidst numerous challenges.

One notable achievement highlighted during the program was the success of Engr. Hannah Guimbongan, an NVSU graduate who recently placed first in the Geodetic Engineer Licensure Exam, which serves as an inspiration to all honorees to continue reaching their ambitions.

Dr. Dumale recognized her accomplishment as a testament to the hard work and determination of NVSU students, remarking that she “brought NVSU once again into the limelight.”

Encouraging students to follow in the footsteps of graduates like Engr. Guimbingan, President Dumale acknowledged the many challenges today’s students face, particularly in light of the rapidly evolving educational landscape.

He assured them of the University’s continued efforts to ease their journey by enhancing support systems and learning resources.

“We, as teachers and parents, are truly proud of your progress, and we stand ready to guide you to your success,” he affirmed.

He also reiterated his commitment to advancing campus resources, announcing a formal proposal to the Commissioner requesting additional facilities to further enhance the student experience at NVSU Bambang Campus.

President Dumale encouraged students to continue their journey with resilience and purpose,

“Huwag kayong bibitaw. Continue striving in your studies, for the honors you receive today are only the beginning. With your hard work, more achievements and recognitions await you in the future,” he stated.
