NVSU's Junior Tourism Student bagged Bronze Medal!
NVSU's Junior Tourism student bagged Bronze Medal in the 15th Annual Tourism and Hospitality Congress and Skills Olympics held at the University of Santo Tomas, España, Manila on April 24-25, 2023.
Competing with 39 contenders from prominent universities and colleges in the Philippines, NVSU representative, Athena Kyle Asuncion, snagged 3rd place in the Tour Guiding Competition (Domestic Category). Asuncion was coached by College Dean Rhea L. Adriatico, the Tour Guiding instructor.
Also among NVSU's delegates in the said Congress were the hailed finalists in the research paper presention, Jhemymah R. Calse and Sheila Marie Aluyu; Domestic Tour Package competition, Maricel Segundo and Djamrick Peralta; and Travel Photography, Vinzon Dave Blance.
Together with Dean Adriatico, Home Technology Department Chair Dr. Lourdes Capua, Hospitality Managemeny Faculty Ms. Xyrene Reyes, Hospitality Management Department Chair Ms. Chrizel Mae Pagbilao and Home Technology Faculty Dr. Carloue Belonio, also served as coaches.
